I participated in a fundraiser golf tourney Sunday to benefit the Ladies Golf Team. The format was captains choice but placed on 10 different holes were members of the team. They met each of us while hitting a drive, or drives, for our team off the tee box. Impressive group to say the least.

There are two freshmen and both are international players. Keera Foocharoen is the first runner up in the Thailand National Team and Nora Wrenger is a member of the German National team in 2014-16. Very talented players. Great additions to a roster that only saw one player graduate and move on.

This will be the first year we will have seniors competing. This is year four of competition. I have participated in this tourney annually and can really see the improvement in both the games of the golfers as well as their confidence. They are coming off their first NCAA tourney participation and have a very challenging schedule this season.

This group is making us proud and the team is in really good hands with Coach Robertson.
